CONSTITUTION OF GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS TAGGED
WORLD PREMIUM PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED
1. Provide Consumers worldwide with an access to authentic GI tagged products at a competitive price with unblemished taste, quality, and its Uniqueness.
2. Address the core issues of National development by promoting Agriculture and allied activities and by encouraging crafts and skills from a definite geographical territory and provide emphasis to small and marginal farmers, artisans, women, and rural youth.
3. Organize Agriculture, Animal husbandry, Handicrafts and Geographical Indications Related Industries on modern and scientific lines and in particular, take necessary steps to revive the said sector and create better livelihood opportunities for the people Involved in the same.
4. Increase Production and Manufacturing of GI tagged products.
5. Impart Ideals, Respect Ideas, Enhance Creativity and to Encourage fellow employees to play an Indispensable role in the process of National development by establishing a strong work ethic.
6. Create a Happy Family, a Happy Village, and a strong Rural India, resulting in a vibrant consumer world.
ARTICLE 1: FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES
All employees of the Organization must
1.1. Abide by the Company’s constitution, respect its Ideals, Vision & Mission.
1.2. Cherish and follow the Ideals that inspired the formation of the Organization.
1.3. Value and protect rich heritage of our Nation’s Composite Culture.
1.4. Promote harmony amongst employees of the Organization.
1.5. Safeguard Organization’s property.
1.6. Strive towards excellence in all spheres of Individual and Collective activity.
1.7. Develop Scientific temper, Spirit of inquiry and Reform.
Fundamental Duties are Enforceable in nature. The employee may directly approach the board for any issues related to Fundamental Duties and its enforcement.
ARTICLE 2: PROTOCOLS
All employees of the Organization must
2.1. Adhere to the Organization Hierarchy and address their seniors with the utmost respect.
2.2. Carry themselves with utmost dignity, positive attitude & bureaucratic approach.
2.3. Converse socially with farmers, artisans, customers, and all fellow employees.
2.4. Devote whole time and attention to the Organization’s affairs and refrain from engaging in any other activities that hinder Organizations Vision, Mission, Progress, Reputation, and Brand value.
No employee of the Organization shall
2.5. Encourage Nepotism, Favoritism.
2.6. Discriminate on basis of Language, Race, Religion, Caste, Sex, Place of Birth.
2.7. Involve in any activities that are against Law, Moral Integrity, National Interest.
2.9. Involve in the consumption of Alcohol or any Intoxicants during Office hours.
2.10. Encourage Child labor (below Age of 14 years) in any form that involves Organizational activities.
2.11. Encourage or involve directly/ indirectly in any form that brings down the integrity or morale of any employee of the Organization.
ARTICLE 3: CAREER
3.1. GIAS- A New Career Format
Geographical Indications Tagged World Premium Products (P) Ltd, is the best of both worlds, the Corporate sector, and a Government Organization. In order to envisage this, the Organization has introduced a new career format under the name Geographical Indications Administrative Service(GIAS).
GIAS Will be a National Level Competitive Written Examination conducted annually for the post of Assistant Commissioners of GI. The candidates will be recruited in the order of merit on the basis of performance in the examination and Interview.
3.2 Three Tier System of the Organization

3.4. Probationers shall undergo the following training
- Foundation training,
- Cross-functional training &
- Field training attached to a Geographical area.
3.5 Job Responsibilities : All employees of the Organization,
3.5.1. Shall play an integral part in reviving Geographical Indications tagged products viz. Agricultural products, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Dairy, Beverages, Manufactured products etc.
3.5.2. Shall facilitate Rural Industries and Rural Development.
3.5.3. Shall abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of the Organization.
3.5.4. Shall be responsible for the Geographical Area and shall directly coordinate all the Organizational activities in the assigned region.
3.5.5. Should actively participate in seminars and conferences, training programs, workshops assigned by the Organization.
3.5.6. Should be prepared to work at any given state cadre as decided by the Organization.
3.5.7. May be assigned with different functions, roles, and responsibilities in the best interests of the Organization.
3.5.8. Shall become eligible for transfer in various other departments/products/place upon completion of 3 years in a particular field.
3.6. Security of Tenure
At any time during the probationary period, Organization may terminate your service in case of incapacity and unethical behavior by giving 30 days of prior notice. Upon completion of probation period and confirmation as a regular employee.
3.6.1. No employee of the Organization shall be removed by an Authority subordinate to the one appointing him.
3.6.2. No employee shall be removed/demoted abruptly from his/her position except in case of Incapacity & Unethical behavior, only after an Inquiry is made.
3.6.3. All employees shall have the power to appeal/showcase their case before the board.
3.6.4. Initiation for removing any employee requires a simple majority of the board (more than 50 % of those Present and Voting) and upon justification for removal requires a special majority (2/3rd).
3.7. Separation
3.7.1. The employee will retire from the services of the Organization on the last day of the calendar month in which they attain the age of sixty years [60].
3.7.2. An employee seeking separation from the Organization, upon approval must serve a notice period of Two months if asked by the Organization.
3.7.3. The employee will be deemed to have voluntarily terminated his/her service, if absent for a continuous period of 8 working days without obtaining prior approval from the reporting officer. Such employees shall not receive any benefits or recognition from the Organization for the earlier served periods.
3.7.4. An Employee terminated due to unethical behavior or misconduct that downgrades the reputation of the Organization or its associates, then under such instances, the Organization reserves the right to blacklist such candidates, whose name shall be displayed in the website of the Organization, www.gitagged.com or its subsidiaries as blacklisted. (The Candidates having accepted the employment with the Organization are deemed to have agreed to the clause 3.7.4)
ARTICLE 4: TRADE SECRETS AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION>
4.1. During the term of employment, an employee may have access to and become familiar with Organizations trade secrets and confidential information. The employee shall acknowledge that such confidential information and trade secrets are owned and shall continue to be owned solely by the Organization.
4.2. The employee shall agree not to use, communicate, reveal or otherwise make available of such information for any purpose whatsoever or to disclose such information to any person or entity other than those expressly designated in writing by the Organization.
4.3. The employee shall refrain from commenting or addressing any issues pertaining to the Organization, directly/indirectly in any modes of mass media communications such as Television, Radio, Newspapers, Social websites, etc., unless otherwise asked for by the Organization in writing.
ARTICLE 5: SALARY STRUCTURE
As an Organization, we believe in total transparency. In this regard, the corresponding Salary structure of an employees tenure is provided in the table below.
5.1. Remunerations are subjected to deductions as per laws, it excludes variable pay & incentives.
5.2. Remunerations may be revised upon prior notice.
5.3. Employees with experience* shall be employed as Assistant Commissioners/ Deputy Commissioners with “X” years of experience and corresponding pay scale shall apply but however, the organization may consider your previous experience as it is or may decide to fix a new experience pay scale under the cadre GIAS.
*Fresher’s or with Experience of 1>8 in field of Food Chain Industry, Agriculture, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Fashion, Interior Design / IPR/ Argo-based Marketing and Web Development.
