GIAS: A New Career Format
We have Introduced a new career format under the name Geographical Indications Administrative Service(G.IA.S.,) for aspirants having the Zeal to achieve and to bring about a real Transformation. We intend to make this a premium administrative service across the globe.
Three tier System
a) Assistant Commissioner (Assistant Manager)
b) Deputy Commissioner (Manager)
c) Additional Commissioner (General Manager)
Time bound Promotion and Remunerations

0-2 years (Probation)

Probationers shall undergo the following training:
•  Foundational Training
•  Cross functional training
•  Field training attached to a geographical Indication area
Security of Tenure
1. No employee of the organization shall be removed abruptly from his/her position or demoted except in case of Incapacity and Unethical behavior, only after an Inquiry is made.
2. No Employee Shall be removed by an Authority subordinate to the one appointing him.
3. Our Employees shall have the power to appeal their case before the board.
4. Initiation process for removing any employee requires simple majority of the board and upon justification for removal requires special majority (2/3rd).
Salary Structure
•  As an Organization, we believe in total transparency and the corresponding Salary structure of an employee’s tenure is provided in the table below.
•  Remunerations are subjected to deductions as per laws, it excludes variable pay & incentives.
•  Remunerations may be revised upon prior notice.
•  Employees with experience* shall be employed as Assistant Commissioners/ Deputy Commissioners with “X” years of experience and corresponding pay scale shall apply but however, the organization may consider your previous experience as it is or may decide to fix a new experience pay scale under the cadre GIAS.
*Fresher’s or with Experience of 1>8 in field of Food Chain Industry, Agriculture, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Fashion, Interior Design / IPR/ Argo-based Marketing and Web Development.

Special Combined Incentive Scheme
A special Incentive of 3% earned from the profits of GI Tagged Panchayat’s shall be distributed annually among all the qualified officers.
An Innovative Gratuity Like Scheme
All Employees joining as Assistant Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners, upon completion of 25 years at Geographical Indications Tagged world premium products (P) Ltd, will be paid a lump sum amount in accordance of their salary and for the service rendered towards the Organization. Such employees may further continue to work in their allocated cadre and position.
Be an Integral Part in the Process of National development
Our employees shall play an integral part of reviving Geographical Indication tagged Agriculture products, Handicrafts, Rural Industries and facilitate Rural Development. Employees shall be responsible for their geographic region and directly co-ordinate activities in their region.

Geographical Indication Tag is conferred for Agricultural Products, Handlooms & Textiles, Foodstuffs, Wine and Spirit, Handicrafts.

Products that indicate a unique quality obtained from a specific region due to traditional practices, vegetation, topography are called as GI Products. These products cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world with the exact uniqueness and specialties.
In World there are around 60,000 GI Tag Products, to name a few | Champagne from the Champagne region of France | Tequila from the city of Tequila, Mexico | Swiss made Watches | Antep baklava sweet of Turkey | Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese produced in the provinces of Parma and Reggio Emilia of Italy.
