GIAS: A New Career Format
We have Introduced a new career format under the name Geographical Indications Administrative Service(G.IA.S.,) for aspirants having the Zeal to achieve and to bring about a real Transformation. We intend to make this a premium administrative service across the globe.
Three tier System
a) Assistant Commissioner (Assistant Manager)
b) Deputy Commissioner (Manager)
c) Additional Commissioner (General Manager)
Time bound Promotion and Remunerations
Assistant Commissioner | 0-2 years (Probation) |
Assistant Commissioner | 3-9 years |
Deputy Commissioner | 10-20 years |
Additional Commissioner | 21 years Onwards |
Probationers shall undergo the following training:
• Foundational Training
• Cross functional training
• Field training attached to a geographical Indication area
Security of Tenure
1. No employee of the organization shall be removed abruptly from his/her position or demoted except in case of Incapacity and Unethical behavior, only after an Inquiry is made.
2. No Employee Shall be removed by an Authority subordinate to the one appointing him.
3. Our Employees shall have the power to appeal their case before the board.
4. Initiation process for removing any employee requires simple majority of the board and upon justification for removal requires special majority (2/3rd).
Salary Structure
• As an Organization, we believe in total transparency and the corresponding Salary structure of an employee’s tenure is provided in the table below.
• Remunerations are subjected to deductions as per laws, it excludes variable pay & incentives.
• Remunerations may be revised upon prior notice.
• Employees with experience* shall be employed as Assistant Commissioners/ Deputy Commissioners with “X” years of experience and corresponding pay scale shall apply but however, the organization may consider your previous experience as it is or may decide to fix a new experience pay scale under the cadre GIAS.
*Fresher’s or with Experience of 1>8 in field of Food Chain Industry, Agriculture, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Fashion, Interior Design / IPR/ Argo-based Marketing and Web Development.
