The Khandua Silk Saree (also known as “Khandua Pata Saree”) is a tie-dyed ikat silk saree. Significantly rich in design, this saree variety is famously known to have been offered to be draped around the Lord Jagannath of Puri. It is believed that, during 12th century AD, Jaydev, the famous poet desired to offer his magnomopous “Gitagovinda’ to Lord Jagannath.
