The traditional Ivory Wood is mainly used in the making of Channapatna Toys.

Color:
Non-toxic Vegetable dyes are used in the coloring process.

Process:
Production process include procuring the wood, seasoning the wood, cutting the wood into the desired shapes, pruning and carving the toys, applying the colors and finally polishing the finished product.

The origin of the Channapatna Toys can be traced to the reign of Tipu Sultan.
