Applique work is an art of needlework where desired representations are created by attaching the pieces to cloth preferably in contrast color.
It is normally dependent on some bright colors that are red, white, black, yellow, green, and blue, etc.
The artisans skillfully stitch the traditional motifs like animals, birds, and flowers on the fabric.

The key features of the applique work are, Chain stitch (with knot after each stitch) used for embroidery, and Patchwork is done manually by hemstitch.

Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild/liquid detergents recommended. Avoid soaking for too long.
