Sanganeri Turquoise Green Floral Creepers Motif Hand Block Printed Running Material

The Craft Started under the patronage of Sawai Jai Singh, Sanganeri hand block printing technique originated from a remote village town called Sanganer in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India Where it derived its name. The craft is carried forward by “Chippa” Community of this region and are produced in limited places.

Production of Sanganeri running material still continues to adopt 12 Intricate Steps of Production like Preparation of dye mixtures, Pre & post-treatment of cloth for printing & finishing.

Traditional Motifs of Sanganeri Dabu are of one of the five following 1) Flowers, Leaves & buds 2) Creepers 3) Fruits 4) Leaves 5) Ornamental

Uniqueness

– The base color of Sanganeri hand block printed textiles is white.

– Known for its specific appearances and wide range delicate floral sprays.

– Print design is seen on the underside of the cloth

– Involved 12 Intricate Steps of Production like Preparation of dye mixtures, Pre & post-treatment of cloth for printing & finishing
