GI as a concept looks very good on paper but its effective implementation is highly complex, the concept requires one Individual knowing and understanding all of India by gaining firsthand experience of every Region, their Culture, the diversity and finally unifying them through GI, followed by Effective market understanding, Product understanding and creating robust supply chain and sales.

We Understood this way back in 2016, that unless a GI is correctly marketed its revival is impossible. We started our first fled visit to Bastar, Chhattisgarh, stayed in the house of an Artisan for nearly Two months, and continued this journey across 23 Indian States and 2 Union Territories spanning over 10 years.

Our main objectives included, Co-creation of Knowledge and Economic Diversification at the grass root level. Having successfully built Worlds first viable Model for Revival and commercialization of GI’s in India, GiTAGGED CEO, Mr. Tejas SJ is considered a Pioneer of Post GI Registrations activities such as Revival, Promotion and Marketing of GI’s.

We have also joined hands with various Government of India bodies such as NHDC, MSME to create awareness on GI, among the Weavers, Artisans and Farmers. In collaboration with NHDC We has been part of GI Camps held at Ladakh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Telangana and Maharashtra. We have also been instrumental in significantly Increasing number of Authorized Users across India for many GI's
