Threads of Tradition: Ilkal Sarees Collection Ilkal sarees are woven using a technique called "Topi Tene," where Pallu is Woven separately & is attached to the warp by interlocking series of loops. Traditionally produced on pit looms in North Karnataka of Bagalkot district, the Ilkal Saree is made using 3 types of Yarns, Cotton & Viscose (Body) & Pure Silk (Pallu).
