Sanganeri Hand Block Printed Cotton Bedsheet
The Craft Started under the patronage of Sawai Jai Singh, Sanganeri hand block printing technique originated from a remote village town called Sanganer in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India Where it derived its name. The craft is carried forward by “Chippa” Community of this region and are produced in limited places.
Production of Sanganeri Bedsheets involves 12 Intricate Steps of Production like Preparation of dye mixtures, Pre & post-treatment of cloth for printing & finishing.
Traditional Motifs of Sanganeri Dabu are of one of the five following 1) Flowers, Leaves & buds 2) Creepers 3) Fruits 4) Leaves 5) Ornamental
