Recently Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, Himachal Pradesh and International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) made news for their research on the Buransh Flower petals. The research showed that phytochemical-rich petals exhibited antiviral activity and could be used against COVID-19 virus.
